A live cam on an eagle nest. You have to sit through a short commercial to start with, but it's totally worth it.

I really need to make one of my eagle shots into an icon...

You can watch the peregrine falcons that nest about a mile from where I work: http://www.nhaudubon.org/research/pcam.htm (and they are just one of many nesting pairs with webcams).

This is probably a really weird question, but is your default icon presently a photo of a white door from my Flickr account? I haven't been able to see your default for a couple days now, and now I'm seeing my front door there.

My assumption is that this is some really peculiar side-effect of the new icon-making feature (I don't even have that particular photo set as viewable-to-all), but I thought I'd better make completely sure before I start poking around and making bug reports.

What I'm seeing is basically this, but cropped weirdly, and it doesn't change when I refresh, and it's very weird.

Let me know what they say - this has intrigued me. :D

I keep intending to post to them and ask why the userpics sort with all uppercase letters first, then the lowercase ones when making a post, but sort without regard to capitalization when making a comment, because it bugs me, but havne't yet got around to it.

Here's the thread.

(The ninja bunny does ask for you not to change the icon, but this sort of stuff seems to have been going on for at least three months, and they seem to have other test cases. I wouldn't worry about it too much if you need to switch the icon for International Sanzo-In-*Specific* Week or some such.)
