Background

Just did a background for one panel that I rather like, and so am posting it ehre before I mess it up by putting figures and text on top of it. XD

Do you draw a background first, then put figures over the top via photoshop? Just curious, because this is obviously aready inked and scanned in...

It's inked digitally (pencilled digitally, too). :D So I do indeed ink the background and then do the figures on top of it - usually on another layer, then flatten it down, but this time I forgot and so I'm doing the figure on the same layer. It's not too fun.

Oh wow, I'm the opposite; I draw the figures first (usually). This of course, can lead to sudden bouts of laziness where I forget to put a background in, so maybe it isn't the best way...
