ZOMG. You have no idea how badly I want that poster. A friend sent me that link on Friday, I enjoyed the rest of the site, and was totally amused by Light's library, but I think it's cruel and unusual to have a picture of that poster up there without a link to buy one. *weeps*

It's not finished yet. Chapter 99 is out in Japan; I've only got scanlations to 97.

Apparently something big happens in 99, but NOBODY TELL ME. I was spoiled for the earlier Big Spoiler and I'd rather it not happen this time

I doubt it'll come to the States anytime soon legitimately, but I suspect it'll be up for download within a few days of it premiering in Japan. :D

YES! *does rock-star leap* It is SO hard to read. The big event in (I think) chapter 54 or so - you know the one (the big plot twist - evil evil Light) - totally shocked me. I'm glad that no one has spoiled any of it for me.

Thanks for the info though. I didn't want to go to chapter 98 to see if it was the end only to spoil future reading.

I don't think it's the end because all the LJs and DA people I know who would be posting going ";_; IT'S OVERRRRRRR!!" aren't doing that, instead they're going "Have you read 99 yet? (Cut for spoilers!)" So it's driving me crazy that 98 and 99 are coming out so sloooow. I could go download the raws and get the text translation, but I loathe trying to go back and forth and figure out what text goes with what panel, so I just wait for the scanlation.

Also Light speaks reads approximately 38753798542 languages, judging by his shelves. However, considering he considers English "a pain" to read, they probably don't allow anyone to take more than two or three languages in school, and there is NO WAY he has enough time to properly study anything he doesn't take in school, my assumption is that his ability in other languages can't be much better than mine: he can work it out well enough without needing dictionaries every few sentences, but he's not actually fluent.

And will we ever see Ryuuk! As I said to another person on my friends list, it worries me that we only see the apple floating there. Even after we touch the DN. (I hope this is just their not wanting to show all their secrets through the webpage.)

Ah crappers...Now I can't find it. *panics* At one point I saw it on the download page (it's a paid subscription, so unfortunately I can't just send you the link) and now it is not there. Which leads me to believe one of two things happened:
1) For some reason, it was removed from the "available for download" section.
-or- (more probable)
2) I misread 97 for 98.

BUT - if I find it, I will make sure to send it your way. *nods vigorously*
