Death Note movie info...

[livejournal.com profile] octopedingenue has the poster.

[livejournal.com profile] kimun pointed out the official website has a clickable version of Light's room where we can learn random factoids about him. Well, provided you read Japanese. *eyeballs Japanese readers on friendslist* Although we can tell he's got some eclectic reading tastes ... the Decameron, The Hunt for Red October, The Only Investment Guide You'll Ever Need, The Heart of the Buddha, and Elvis & Me, among others.

[livejournal.com profile] kimun mentioned things like it mentioning that Light reads TOm Clancy novels to practice his English. Other than that - well, I have no idea what any of it says, so I have no idea what to translate. :D

I actually have no clue what it says. I just saw a Tom Clancy novel and tried to rationalize why.

YOU BRAZEN MISLEADING HUSSY! XD

Ah well. Note that he's got German and Italian books, too. I think it was the set dressers going to some used bookstore and grabbing the first non-Japanese books they could lay their hands on.

CAPLOCKS, BACK AT YOU! :p

I figured that when I saw the upside down almanac from the 70s which I haven't seen been used in a Clever Plot(tm)....

The little bit of Japanese text that appears when you click on the bookshelf just reads something along the lines of "Many books are set up" (沢山の本が並べる).
