Kittyspam redux

I'm trying not to think about having to throw stuff in boxes and move it to my room before the furniture gets ehre tomorrow, so I chased the cat around with the camera again.



RUN!!!! IT'S THE GHOST CAT!!!



I was learning how to do a long exposure with the camera - that's about 2 seconds, I think. It was fairly dark outside at the time, hence why the exterior is pretty well exposed but the interior is overexposed. You can see the inspiring view outside my window.









EVIL DEMON CAT. I usually don't manage to get her eyes juuuuust right to reflect fully - they're usually only reflecting a little bit, and I sometimes darken that in Photoshop, like with teh previous photo, to make them look better.




This is not my cat. This is my kitchen. This is my kitchen the cleanest it has ever been, ever, and I thought I'd commemorate that.




And the cat explores, since there's usually too much junk on the coutners for her to get up there.




OH NOES! IT'S TEH GHOST CAT AGAIN!



Heh - I didn't realize that something aobut the speed of the flash, the speed of the shutter, and the speed of the cat all combined to make her partially-transparent. Check her hind legs if you don't see it.


In which we discover that cats don't actually like having a bright flashy thing in their faces.




I think I have a yearbook photo like this.










And managed to catch her with her tongue stuck out. XD

It's the first time I caught her doing it. My mom's old cat would do it every time she licked herself. XD

My mother has this obnoxiously fat cat that loves to have his back scratched. When you get him all worked up, his tongue darts out and in in ecstasy. It's one of the silliest things that I've ever seen.

Her name is Nefer, but I never use it. She thinks her name is "Kitty" and will, occasionally, answer to it, so that's what it's defaulted to. XD
