Luckily our door automatically locks when the door's shut, so it can't be accidentally left unlocked if the door's closed. And each of us in there makes damn sure to close it when leaving the room if no one else is in there, because we've got so much computer equipment. So it'd take some doing for anyone to sneak in.
He was nicer than I would have been. I would have been amused, but I wouldn't have given them that minute if they were being that annoyingly idiotic about the situation.
"You may have mistaken my office for the cheap hotel down the block. It's a common mistake, really."
I might have given them time to get their act together and get out, but I'd probably have used that time to gather as many people as I could to stand around the door and applaud when they exited.
O_O XD that's quite amusing. I'd probably be like "damn where's my camera when there's a kodak moment??" But then i'll make them buy me some air freshner and windex for my desk lol.
I begin to think I'm the only person in North America who would find that scene *amusing*, and considers the total impossibility of it ever happening in MY office to be one of the downsides of working in my industry.
Having now read the previous comments to this post, I stand corrected. You clearly have a "better" class of commentors than do the other people I've seen this linked from.
