My cat will come over and whine at you for meat when you're eating it, but if you're eating lettuce, you'd better watch out. He will slay you to get to it if necessary.
Clearly, both of our cats are making the responsible choice to become vegetarians. This is likely because we raised them right. I'm so proud.
It perfectly explains why she never kills any bugs she finds - she's morally opposed to it.
I have so far failed to explain to her that the treats she loves so much that smell like dead fish are not merely dead-fish-flavored crackers, but contain tuna and salmon.
Mine loves smelly shoes, the smelly the better....she puts her head inside for some seconds, and then the face she has once she is out for some fresh air....you would think she just got "stonned"
Can I just tell you that I'm in love with your ava. I've been in love with it for quite some time, but I think I'm rapidly become obsessed. It's just so.....oh! Poor Kyo!! *clears throat* Ok--sorry about that, just had to let you know.
Heh. Sounds a bit like Kali -- she loved graham crackers, most baked goods, garbanzo beans, black beans, most cooked veggies. She certainly had no interest in being a vegetarian and majorly missed my ex-roommates because of all the table scraps she cadged back then, and she loved her wet cat food, but that cat really enjoyed vegetables. I miss her a lot. I haven't tried vegetables on the kittens yet as they are still trapped in my bedroom until the little one gets brave enough that I think I can turn them loose in the house and still have a chance of seeing her again and capturing her when necessary.
(just discovered this, due to non-notification thing...)
I haven't tried this one on vegetables yet. She pretty much dislikes everything I give her. Except for pork, which makes her throw up. My cat growing up liked broccoli, but since I hate broccoli, this one isn't going to get the chance to try it, unless I accidentally order some CHinese dish with it.
Heh. That was how Kali always wound up with mushrooms (which she loved) -- It seems like every other vegetarian pizza on the planet has mushrooms on it and when ordering with meat-eaters, the only way anyone else would go along with getting a veggie one was to include mushrooms, so she got ones picked off of pizzas fairly often.
