Box of cat

My cat has completely renounced the cardboard flat she used to sleep in, in favor of a shoebox I brought home a few days ago. As the kitty is slightly larger than the shoebox, the resulting box of cat is rather cute.

And I just ordered $27 worth of food to be delivered because I'm out of caffeine and I reeeeeally don't want to leave the apartment to get more. Why $27? Because if I order $20 worth of food, I get 2 free drinks. So I'm saving $1.84 by ordering enough food to feed me for three days, you see I AM VERY VERY SMRT and it means I don't have to go grocery shopping for three more days if I just run by a convenience store to fill up on caffeine tomorrow.

When I went last Saturday to care for Kitty, she thought I was you and she was being all lovable. After a good smell, she realized I was NOT you then stormed off and played with Bruce. AFter I cleaned her litter box, washed out her water bowls and refilled her food bowls she let me pet her after she took a bribe of a treat and even then she had to hiss as to say, "YOu are not mother but I will allow you to pet me."

Oh dear, poor kitty. XD To get her hopes up so high, then cruelly dash them to the earth!

I'm still a MEEN MEEN person for not letting her go outside, but I finally managed to unstick the window that was painted shut or something, so she got to sit on the windowsill all day yesterday and sniff the outside, which is better than nothing.

I'm feeling vaguely guilty that I have to go to Houston this weekend and leave her alone, but it's just for the weekend, and after that I'm not going anywhere until, like, Christmas.
