Box of cat

My cat has completely renounced the cardboard flat she used to sleep in, in favor of a shoebox I brought home a few days ago. As the kitty is slightly larger than the shoebox, the resulting box of cat is rather cute.

And I just ordered $27 worth of food to be delivered because I'm out of caffeine and I reeeeeally don't want to leave the apartment to get more. Why $27? Because if I order $20 worth of food, I get 2 free drinks. So I'm saving $1.84 by ordering enough food to feed me for three days, you see I AM VERY VERY SMRT and it means I don't have to go grocery shopping for three more days if I just run by a convenience store to fill up on caffeine tomorrow.

Awwww, cute. XD

She actually let me hold her for over 15 seconds the other day before struggling to get down, so I have hopes that one day she will learn the glory that is being cuddled. XD

Our cats are four now, and didn't actually start being lap cats until they were threeish, so there's definitely hope-- they've gotten much more snuggly even this year. It's as though they suddenly realized that they had the option of sitting on people instead of on things that are harder and not as warm. It was pretty sudden, too, and though they'd been touchable at younger ages, they'd had no inclination at all to be actually cuddly. I've had friends tell me this is a normal cat-life-cycle thing, so expect her to start being possibly overly affectionate in another year or so.

Yeah, my cats weren't lap cats until they were a couple years old-- three or four, I think.

Well, good, I ahve hopes that she'll start liking laps.

I need an icon of my cat that isn't saying "Bitch, please!" so I don't ahve to explain that I'm using it because of the cat and not the comment. :D
