*Nice* Christmas-themed online shopping?

Anyone know of someplace online that sells nice Christmas-themed things, not the plastic stuff I can pick up in Michael's or Joann's but stuff you'd see in Christmas/Kristkindl markets? The big Christmas market that normally shows up in our area sells a lot of stuff from a German company that has an online presence...and charges FORTY-NINE EUROS for shipping to the US.

[personal profile] myrialux and I have a tradition of buying a Santa figure every year and obviously we're not getting out to buy any in person this year. I'd like something kind of nice (and willing to go up to $100 or so) but I'm not willing to pay FORTY-NINE EUROS SHIPPING for the thing.

(From what I've heard, it's a US-side customs surcharge somehow. I did not buy yarn from a German vendor earlier this year because of extra shipping fees.) Good luck with finding a good source!

The German Post Office did up dues for sending parcels outside of the EU considerably at the start of the year. I used to be able to send tracked small parcels to Asia for around 7 Euros, now they cost 17 Euros, so I no longer offer tracking.
I hope you can find a US wholesale importer of the stuff you want to buy, because if those Santas are bigger, or weird to pack safely, that may be a normal shipping charge.
Oh and customs aren't included in the price I quoted, so people may have to pay customs extra.

I would start winnowing through Scandinavian for imported items and Pennsylvania Dutch/Amish type sites for handicrafts. Unfortunately the current administration is responsible for the high prices on imported things. Higher-end retailers like Garnet Hill sometimes have good things too (can't think of others offhand). I like to pick up Jultomten or nisse and they're scarce in the US. (Martha Stewart had a big gnome thing last year and that may be affecting supply.) I don't think Kris Kringl has everything in that massive jammed shop online, but it's worth looking and maybe phoning?

I have occasionally found good vintage decorations on eBay/Etsy, but the pricing is rarely reasonable.

Like Etsy, but prices are more Russia. Shipping can be slow, but nowhere near 49 euros. Most artists will reply in English if you tell them the code phrase: "К сожалению я не знаю русского языка, пожалуйста ответьте мне по-английски"
