So...people who know Japan...
...can any of you tell me what this thing is?
I'm talking about the big board with all the numbers on it. I grabbed the shot from this YouTube video which is a guy using a GoPro or something to capture video of a walk along the Meguro River in Tokyo viewing the cherry blossoms one evening recently.* He walked by several of these (or possibly the same one several times), and Toby and I started wondering what the heck it is.
* The entire channel (almost) is walks in Japan. Good to put on in the background when you need non-distracting noise, or for the treadmill//exercise bike to pretend you're not on a treadmill/exercise bike.
