HELP ME DECIDE
I am taking an online art class. Over the course of this class, we're taking one image from concept to final stages, and doing a fake movie poster. Last week we did 24 thumbnails and then narrowed them down to 6 and did a quick value study. This week, in addition to some anatomy lessons, we're picking one of the value studies and doing a full lineart.
I CANNOT DECIDE.

Yes, you may have noticed that the brief is for Little Red Riding Hood. We have creative freedom other than that. There were two other briefs, one for Alice in Wonderland, and one for Sherlock Holmes. I picked this one because of that LRRH-as-a-Roman picture I did a while back, but changed it to a Roman dude at the wolf and a Celtic woman as LRRH because I wanted a sort of victim-turning-the-tables thing. Aaaand ended up with both of them white because of LRRH being Boudicca-like and I really didn't want the menacing figure to be the person of color in the pic Maybe I'll do a realistic version of the one I did before to make up for it.
I might do the other versions to have more examples of my artwork to post places.
I will probably also take a look at the one everyone votes on and go NO I DON'T WANT TO DO THAT and do something else. Because that's the way these things go.
I CANNOT DECIDE.

But for sheer eye catching energy, I like 5 and 1, then 2 and 4, then the others.

Plus I think they have a good balance of subject to negative space/background, so there is space to put all the movie-poster text without obscuring an important detail, or without the text fighting for visibility against a high-contrast background as in 6, and to a slightly lesser degree 5.

But overall, these are marvellous, and I am looking forward to the axe!
