Stupid and non-sarcastic question, what makes Ravenna special to you? I know nothing about it. I've heard things about Venice, but pretty much nothing on Ravenna.

I took a medieval art class in college and the professor waxed enthusiastic about the Masoluem of Galla Placidia (not actually a mausoleum) and I decided then and there that I was going to see it one day. AND NOW I HAVE.
