I have been stuck on hold with IKEA customer service for twenty minutes now. The only thing stopping me from hanging up is the sure and certain knowledge that if it's this bad at this time in the morning, it'll be even worse later on.
No clue. The last time we ordered a large amount of stuff from IKEA was 5 years ago, right after we moved in to our house. The delivery guys who showed up told me they were missing one box, and said it would be sent out on the next truck to go to our area, a week later. No truck showed. I sent several emails to no response.
Eventually Toby did the smart thing and counted the boxes we had, and discovered that nothing was missing. I sent one last email, complaining about the delivery company, and go no response to that, either.
So, yeah: the shipments have always been fine, but the delivery company inexplicably has its head up its ass.
