We were worried that Nefer wasn't eating--we had to pick her up a day early from the place that did the I-131 injection because she wasn't eating there, and when we went in for our allotted 20 minutes per person per day, she'd eat when we hand-fed her.

And then Toby realized, well, duh, we have a spy camera. So we set it up in there.



Yay, she's eating!

Still not happy about the small amount of time we can see her, alas. :(

Being hand-fed is ALWAYS better! I hope it's gooshy food, from a spoon.

Is she still meowing plaintively or has this become her New Normal, I Never Lived Anywhere Else?

This is the cat that took ten years to realize that food is not necessarily crunchy kibble! She hasn't touched the gooshyfud we've left for her each day, but I may give some a try with a spoon tonight. I've seen her drink water on the spycam, so at least she's doing that.

She's still yowling every so often, mostly in the morning and the evening when we're getting ready for work or bed, probably because she hears the activity close to her room. I think she's literally yowled herself hoarse, as it sounds different. (And heartbreaking to me! Aaaauuuugggghhh!)
