Also the telecom infrastructure. Squirrels LOOOOVE coaxial cable. They love to nest in lockboxes on the sides of buildings.

They made a nest in the attic of the house we were renting, and the management company and owner were unwilling to invest the money that was needed in properly closing off the soffits (they were made of mesh the squirrels just chewed through). And then they gave us fleas. We bought a house after that so we could fix the damn thing whenever something broke.
