Woot.com has a limited number of PS4s on sale for $299. We had been thinking about getting one--more and more games we'd like to play are starting to come out for it--so I pulled the trigger on it when it arrived in my email, after texting Toby to confirm it was a good deal.

...of course, Joe has been making getting-a-TV noises...
...hmm.
(In all likelihood, we will do nothing, but it's nice to dream of. *g*)

OT: P.S.
Re: OT: P.S.
I will TOTALLY MAIL IT TO YOU in exchange for permission to reprint a story in the ConDFW program book! :D Let me know if that deal works!
(If it does work, I have no preference for a particular story, but if you've got a science fiction one with reprint rights available it might serve as a bit of publicity for the hexarcate trilogy--I'd happily throw in a mention of "If you like this, Lee has a forthcoming trilogy blah blah blah." or something else like that.)
Re: OT: P.S.
Hmm, "The Battle of Candle Arc" is a hexarchate story but it's also freely available online, because most of my works were sold to online zines. Most of the others are either old or are still under non-compete. If you'd prefer something that isn't available online, then I can go digging and see what's available.
:D

Re: OT: P.S.
"The Knight of Chains, the Deuce of Stars" is 5,700 words, so a little shorter.
And for a really short option, "A Vector Alphabet of Interstellar Travel" is 2,000 words. That should give you some options, I hope. :D
Eeeeeeee barter!
