Found Object Burlesque Names

* Admittedly, there's a lot of covers out there which are finely-tuned to signal specific things to specific demographics but which look ridiculous (because they are) to those unfamiliar with the signals. Things other than "an amateur who hasn't taken the time to learn Photoshop did this," I mean. The perfect example of this is the cover for Pounded by the Biker Rainbow Come to Life: Firsy Time Gay Paranormal M/M Taboo, which--aside from the cover misspelling--is a signal for "ridiculous, over-the-top, tongue-in-cheek** pr0n."

We do something like the Found Object names in our family: they're called road names, and they're taken from highway exit signs that list two towns. There must be a tumblr somewhere that collects good examples. My current road name is Angola LaGrange (from a sign in northern Indiana). Andy's is Pendleton Pike. The kids are Marshall Paris and Quincy Coldwater.

I told my friend about this tradition while we were driving through Arkansas to Memphis, and soon after we passed an exit sign saying "Victoria Luxora" -- which she promptly claimed as her road name, and it works as a burlesque name too!
