(1) Got a phone call from Fed Ex; they're going to attempt redelivery today. Yay! (see previous posts).

(2) Note to self: next time you make cassoulet, pretty plz remember to pull ALL the bay leaves out. *ack, pthbtbtbt* Eating a whole bay leaf is kind of nasty.

Yes! Toby texted me an hour or two later, and they'd delivered our JR passes.

I mmmmight have intimated in the email I sent to Andre the Social Media Guy that we needed them to travel this weekend. i.e., if he could recognize what "jrpass" was, then my "We prefer it be redelivered, as picking it up at the hub 30-45 minutes away is difficult since we're on a tight schedule due to traveling this weekend" might have lit a fire under someone's ass. Every word of that is true: it's just that we're traveling across town for a three-day LAN party this weekend instead of Japan, and we are cooking madly each day after work because I volunteered to serve enchiladas to the gamers on Saturday. :)
