Here's a stumper...

Some time back, I emailed Toby with a link to a British police procedural show that focused on women characters, with a note that some people on my f-list had found it good, and we might could look into it the next time we were looking for a new show to watch. Naturally, neither of us can dig up that email now, and we can't remember the show. I'm under the impression that it's relatively recent. Any ideas?

I was marathoning Scott & Bailey concurrently with Inspector Lewis. The contrast between the two shows was... very contrast-y. But they're both really good!

Bailey and Scott?

That's looking like it--certainly someone over on DW thinks so, so it's got two votes of confidence. :D Thanks!

There Bletchley Circle, which is female-focused but more in the period detective drama genre than the procedural.

I know it's not that one, as we've watched the first season of it.

One warning: Bailey and Scott kind of goes downhill towards the end of season one and season two has issues. But it gets back in gear in Season Three.

Duly noted! Thanks for the warning!
