Man, I couldn't find anything that had a good close-up of that belt buckle - all the panels in the various chapters are too small to figure out what the hell it is, so you get somethng vaguely like it, but not really.
at this point i just need to work up the mental energy to download the chapters. ^^; i would read it, really. but downloading things bores me. this is my cross to bear. XD
I may be inking it, too - I pencil like I ink, using the lightbox or something, so I never ink on my original. :) But my pencilled stuff seems to go well in art shows, althugh I'm not sure about how popular Death Note is to the general congoing public, so I dont' know if he'll sell. I'm going to make his opening bid high, though: I like him too well to see him go for pennies.
Mello seems popular enough methinks, but good success on that! And I think it's a good choice that it's pencilled. Much as I love ink, I don't believe it will look as leather-y, this way it looks soft like you could touch it. Hee.

Very nice. But just about every time I see Mello, I think, he would make a cute girl. (In MegaTokyo, I find Piro's female gamer alter-ego very attractive physically.)
That shirt texture shading is gorgeous. If you sell prints of those at animefest, I'll totally buy one i I have any money at all. As I said before, it's a great Mello pose.
