Very cool link :) I think some of them worked far better than others though. I quite liked Psylocke and Power Girl, but Wonder Woman and who I am assuming is the Scarlet Witch were a bit meh.
I find it odd that people make a big deal out of Power Girl's boob window though and seek to remove it in nearly every redesign she gets since I think she's one of a handful of characters who showing some skin works for. Her costume design has been brought up several times in universe (all with a different explanation, but at least there was a character based answer) and as a fun-loving and slightly cheeky character I could see her using her, umm, "assets" (her large chest being an in and out of universe running joke) to tactical advantage if and when needed. On the other hand someone like Elektra or Psylocke running around in a spandex leotard with no boob support, despite being a trained fighter/ assassin who'd definitely know how stupid that was, seems directly contrary to their character and feels like their costumes were designed just to titillate the audience.
I especially like Wonder Woman's (professional warriors do not expose skin) and Black Canary's (people who ride motorcycles regularly should wear something other than fishnets), but I find the baggy trousers look a bit disconcerting and possibly a problem. Although, the artist may have been going more for the martial arts gi/hakama look. I think most of those ladies, given their active lifestyles, would tuck their pants into their boots, or wear something with an elastic ankle.
Also, of the heroines selected, Zatanna's original costume makes more sense for her, since she was, at one point, an actual professional stage magician in Las Vegas and other places. Illusionists are all about misdirection, which is why Teller never talks and Penn never stops (it's also one of the reasons why Penn has one fingernail painted on the hand he gestures with, so people will watch that hand and not the other one). A nice pair of legs is a good way to keep people from paying attention to the parts of the trick that you aren't supposed to see (which is why stage magicians have a history of scantily clad assistants, of course). That being said, I kind of like Z'anna's outfit, though I think tuxedo pants would be better than pinstripes.
