50 of the world's best breakfasts. Mostly idealized versions, I think. (As a Texan, I had a breakfast taco this morning. Mind you, it was because we made egg and potato tacos for breakfast this weekend and I forgot we had enough left over for one more until this morning, so I brought the components to work and nuked them and ate them.)

India: rosemary roasted potatoes, Indian tofu scramble, lentils, veggie sausage and banana pepper toast.
Uh... nowhere I have seen a single one of those items served at breakfast, and only lentils served anywhere. Never seen a "tofu scramble" - that sounds like California to me. Never seen veggie sausage. Never seen banana pepper toast (that might be a southern thing.) Rosemary roasted potatoes are American, in my experience. Potatoes are more likely to be curried with about 15 different spices, and yellow with turmeric.
Depending on region, you probably get some kind of bread plus tea. South: might be a masala dosa, a giant crispy rolled rice-based flat bread, a bit tangy, stuffed with curried potatoes. Maharashtra: Chapati or bhakri (flat breads) with butter and sugar, or curried vegetables, or thick fresh cream. Some people have toast and jam, or scrambled or fried eggs.

(It sounds like they went to an Indian-ish restaurant in California for that meal...)
