D.Va had a little adventure last night. She as nowhere to be found as we went to bed, but this is normal--she usually spends the first part of the night somewhere else in the house, and comes back to our bedroom sometime in the wee hours of the morning.

At 3:42 AM I woke up to the sound of faint, muffled banging and couldn't tell where it was coming from. I got up and wandered into the bathroom, but it had stopped. Assuming it was something outside that had quit doing whatever it was, I was about ready to leave when it started up again, much more frantically, with a mmmrrrrOOOOOWWWWWW!!!!! noise.

Yup, she'd accidentally gotten shut in the walk-in closet entered through our bathroom. I opened the door and she cautiously poked her nose out, then as we left the bathroom she suddenly zoomed out and out of the bedroom.

This morning I checked the litterbox cam and as I thought, she'd zoomed to the laundry room to make use of the facilities. Which is good, as it means she didn't pee anywhere in the closet. She seems totally unaffected by her nighttime adventures, and the only sign she'd been in the closet was one of my bras pulled onto the floor from where it had been draped. I assume she slept in the closet the first part of the evening since she wasn't banging on the door early on.
