myrialux has this totally bizarre desire not to let everyone on the intartubes know that our house was empty for a week, so I was a bit quiet in public on that front.
At any rate, I can tell you that we were on a Caribbean cruise and we did not get stranded in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico, nor did we contract norovirus! And we have a lot of blurry pictures of fish and of places where fish were just a moment ago. (To forestall the inevitable question: we were on Princess. Which is owned by Carnival. XD)
The cats survived, although they hid from the petsitter every time he came over, so he had to deduce their continued existence from the food and litterbox (and the places where Nefer barfed). Nefer came right up to us, but Sora was pretty sure we had been replaced by aliens, so hid under the bed for half an hour, but he's come out now and bugged me for petting, so I think he's realized that we are who we claim to be.
Will babble more later, but we just got home and I'm starving, and we have Game of Thrones and Doctor Who to watch, which obviously takes priority over blog posting so I'm going to go bugmyrialux over what we're going to do for dinner.
