I Hate The Upstairs Neighbors

They have a dog.

They keep this dog on their balcony at night, and when they're not at home.

The planks that make up the floor of the balcony are designed to have space in between them.

You can guess what my porch looks like now.

I took photos. I went by the apartment office, but no one was in, so I just left a strongly worded, but polite, message about the situation. I don't hear back from them today or tomorrow, I go to the office after work and bang some heads.

The best-laid plans...

So my cat and I tend to engage in a cold war for the possession of the best seating in the apartment. I've managed to hold my claim on the computer chair by deploying a Feline Thwarting Device every time I get up from it. It's usually a large pillow that's supposed to be living on the futon, but I've recently been grabbing something else that's nearby and placing it on the chair in my absence. This object has been working quite well.

( However, I may have to re-think this strategy. )

Aarg, think I may be getting sick. Either that or I have Very Bad Allergies making my throat dry and me cough a bit. :P

I'll see how I feel tomorrow morning.
