If you don't mind seeing blurry tabloid-type photos from the show, along with eyewitness accounts of the carnage, then go here.
If you go to the 'Sightings' link, you can see various people's stories of themselves and their relatives seeing someone who looks like the Doctor, at various times in the past. My favorite one, though, is:

He walked into my life one day, and right out of it. Interested in getting back in touch. Any information?
I'm not conversant enough with DW (it's been a long time since I've seen any of the original episodes) to spot any more in-jokes.
[*] er, yes, it's run by the BBC, much in the same vein that the official Galaxy Quest website was the most eye-poppingly horrible fan-type page ever. Does anyone know if there's an archived copy of that somewhere?
