Aug. 15th, 2003 09:24 pmMore coding today. Put all the scripts ion the orig dragonfly db into one script, worked out how to lock the table so nobody else could write to the table while someone is updating it, and deleted any records in the updates table over 5, at Joe's request to save disk space.
Still had problems with the NuSOAP script, but Joe put a couple of commands in that show the info that's getting passed to and from the db, which helped to some extent. Still didn't get it working, but at leat it was sending info over. Will show him where I stand Monday.
Next week I'll work on a few other things. Wednesday I sit with Helen to talk about her new project to get an idea what she's doing from the ground up. Joe says I'll work with Dan and his medicine learning zone next week, but I think Dan is on holiday in Italy then. But I ought to be able to work with Charlie writing captions or with Matt/Nat the archaeology guy on whatever he's doing.
Went to a BBQ at Joe's house last night. Over-engineered bbq grill :). I shouldn't say anytghing against it because it worked really well. And the weather is finally back to normal: it's August and we clustered around the fire to keep warm.
