Interesting fact: today I learned when putting my head down for a minute or so that my desk inexplicably smells like maple syrup.

Yeah, I was on muscle relaxants for a while and calibrating medicinal benefit v. awakeness was a tough process.

I have defined my job duties for today as "being here in case something happens," because there's not much else I can do (focus-wise; I'm not so sleepy that I fear driving or anything). Sometimes that's what you have to do.
