arg!

So I have a scab on the top of my foot from the nifty shoes on Friday*, and it has now reached the ITCHING THE HELL OUT OF IT stage. Especially when driving. AARGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

* Long story short: wore them all day and was fine, chose to wear them to dinner & a movie & walking around downtown, and half an hour into it, my foot and especially my arthritic joint went "Let's swell!" So I rubbed the hell out of the skin over the arthritic joint. Lesson: Wear shoes either to work or out, not both places in one day.

Bodyglide does wonders in keeping shoes from rubbing--you can get it in any running store and I think the sports stores are supposed to have it. I bought it for my thunder thighs, but it's done wonders when wearing shoes I rarely wear or need to break in as well.

Thanks! I'll give it a try.

Did you take the shoes off and put them back on? That's always certain doom.

Momentarily, to put band-aids on my little toes. I also spent long periods of time off my feet, in the restaurant, and in the theatre, which I think contributed to the swelling.
