My kitty is allergic to pork. Twice before, when I'd given her pork, she threw up a short time after eating it. Last night she managed to ferret out an old, dry piece of pork that had fallen on the floor and gotten kicked under a cabinet last week when I made the pork stew thing, and ate half of it before I could take it away from her. And this morning there was a nice pile of semidigested cat food in the middle of the carpet.

Figures. I finally find a meat the cat likes, and she's allergic to it. Woo.

Heh. It's tuna that now makes my cat an unhappy feline. Even the (once beloved) drippings cause problems for her.

This cat doesn't really consider tuna food - she'll sniff it politely and maybe give one swipe of a tongue, but otherwise ignores it. The other day I was eating ice cream (Breyer's lactose-free vanilla ice cream! Woo!) and let her sniff it. She gave a courtesy swipe of the tongue and then spent the next five minutes licking her face like it was the ickiest thing EVAR.
