If I were truly evil, I'd challenge teh fic writers here to come up with aglossary story in their favorite fandom, but officially doing that would mean I have to provide some sort of art incentive to be fair, and I've got enough stacked up at this instance in time.

So I am merely pointing that out and letting you mull it over. :D

Tell you what, if you get TEH SEKRIT PROJECT art on time, I'll write you a gift story in any fandom and on any subject you like.

I did get the pencils of the Fiona character design done, even with an enormous orchid in the background, and slapped some ink on there and scanned it in - still need to be cleaned up and the left hand TAKEN OUT AND SHOT er, redone - but when I was all ready to send you the cleaned-up pencils ... my internet connection dropped. AAAAARG.

The past week, my net connection has been going down regularly around midnight or so. I phoned in about it last Saturday night, to find out if it was just me or not, and they said it was the entire complex. So far, the connection's been back up within a couple of hours everytime, and it hasn't happened during the day or evening. There's a Lowe's being built behind the complex - I'm assuming the construction is causing or contributing to the cable modem and water problems we've been having.

Just don't /expect/ anything from me between 11PM and 8AM my time.

* er, that would be "the non-cleaned-up inks" not the cleaned-up pencils. DOn't know how /that/ came out.

I started a glossary story two days before that post, and was startled and pleased to see it.

However. It's not in a fandom.

It does have necromancy, tone color, and snide gossip in, though!

Oh, please, who reads original fiction anymore? That's so twentieth-century.

Hee! That's quite all right. I've certainly been known to get busy and miss things and procrastinate a lot myself. You certainly don't need to do any art if you're busy! Mind you, if you wanted to, I wouldn't say no, but I don't want you do feel like you have too. *g* You are not a bad muse!

XD I have a sort of idea for a pic, so there's a chance it'll get done. A chance, of coruse - if I sit down and start drawng, it's entirely possible that the images will refuse to come out of my head. :)
