Nefer puked on my brand new, expensive camera. So how's your day going?

To forestall the questions: she got the outside of the lens, a little bit of the body, and the flash diffuser. Managed to eventually find advice on the Nikon site that said after going to the beach one should clean dirt and sand off the body with a soft cloth dampened in a bit of distilled water which, in a strange coincidence, we actually happen to have. That advice was hard to find, however, as every other piece of advice on the net says to clean the camera's body with a soft dry cloth and that was so not happening as I didn't discover the event for 48 hours or so and it was no longer liquid. Camera now cleaned, seems to have survived.

Seems to work fine - I took the above picture post-cleaning. Nefer's fine too, just her normal yarking. She's got a more sensitive tummy than Sora has.

One of my cats just puked all over the floor. I now count myself lucky!
