If it weren't for my costuming habit, I'd never have known how awesome I would look if I could just somehow make my hair quadruple in volume and grow down to my butt.

Same! My hair is so fine and volume-less that I'm pretty much forced to keep it short, so I can't do awesome hairstyles like this. I desperately envy people with long thick hair. D:
