NOTE TO SELF: When purchasing a loaf of sliced bread from Central Markup, you MUST immediately place half of it into the freezer, as it molds easily, thus, perhaps, depriving you of toast when you really want it. (Compare to the generic grocery store hot dog buns we bought WEEKS ago during a post-migraine comfort food binge*, which I only threw away today after noting the faintest of faint dustings of something that might be mold of some ilk. Those preservatives work!)





* Chili dogs. Mmmmmmmm.

I still can't decide if it's more disturbing to open the refrigerator and see something that's gone moldy and eeuw, or something that you know has been in there for weeks and should have mold but is actually still pristine-looking. :|
