Found when reading friendsfriends (network) on DW: If you post Amazon or other affiliate links on your LJ, it *might* be replacing them with LJ affiliate links. Solution and links describing the issue at the link.
I couldn't make it do that on my IE, and didn't try logging out of FF, but figured I'd execute the fix anyway Just In Case.
ETA: The series of posts by
shatterstripes here about it.
ETA2: Trying it on a different computer, even though I've set that fix: yup, my Amazon affiliate links are getting stripped out and replaced with someone else's. I'm going to re-post my post with links in it from today to see if it stops doing that now.
ETA3: Nope, doesn't work. I'm going to leave a message on that post about clicking the tags from the Dreamwidth post if you decide to buy.
ETA4: Fix-ish here - it will stop the changing of the affiliate links for *you*, but not for your *readers* - i.e. if someone reading your LJ hasn't implemented it and isn't blocking the Javascript that makes it work, then your affiliate link will still be changed for them. I'm just going to add a new disclaimer onto my DW crosspost footer, even though it makes it HORRIBLY LONG.

Really not happy about this. Not like I get more than $5/month from Amazon referral fees, but it's money I damn well expect to NOT BE TAKEN FROM ME BY LJ.
