LOL!
A lot of this was why I was laughing out loud, too.

Basically, this movie seems very much like some guy – let us call him, for legal reasons, “Phlames Phlameron” – sat down and was like, “well, I like Star Wars. And I like masturbating to old copies of National Geographic. If only there were some way for me to combine these interests!”

Bwah!

See, I loved it, but, at the same time, my review of it was 'It's what would happen if the movies Fern Gully and Die Hard had a love child.'

I haven't seen it, but the trailers seem completely unappealing to me, and I don't want to see the special effects bad enough to subject me to the story. So instead I will simply make fun of it. :)

Haha. Yeah- while I loved the movie, I love getting all the jokes too. XD I lol'ed at the link so much.

Yeah, I'm enjoying the snark, but the actual movie will do nothing for me.

yes to the Pern! I laughed out loud when the main character started not only leveling up as ranger but then became multi-class by also becoming a dragon rider.

Spit my coffee out at the Lisa Frank thing. I thought Avatar was gorgeous, but, uh, that comment was too spot on. It has lost the little bit of shiny it had left for me.
