Will I ever be able to write a story of less than 3000 words? I'm 867 words into my Yuletide story, and it's looking to be on track with my other two: 3-4000 words. *sigh*
Mine finally started pouring out properly last night ... more than 500 words and running. I begin to have hopes it might get finished relatively soon ... maybe not soon enough for one of my beta volunteers to see it, though. (I have taken off work for the rest of the week - I had use-or-lose leave - and writing and holiday cards are high on the agenda.)
I'd be tempted to take a day off ... but I can't, as we go live on the new website at work on January 4th, so I'm working frantically and late to fix all the holes that keep popping up. XD
