Man, I love The Big Picture; it's gorgeous and frequently educational. Although, I have learned the had way--somehow needing this lesson about the internet yet again--not to read the comments, ever, ever, no matter how uncontroversial the theme, as there is a high percentage of asshattery and stupidity among the commenters, and all discussions inevitably descend into wank. (It hasn't happened here yet, but I promise you, someone will bring up global warming, and it will all go to hell.)
I read that as 'celebrities fall in the Northern Hemisphere' and was very confused. Urg. This is what I get for trying to read things while my head is all stuffy!
The leaves haven't quite started to turn here yet, and we tend to get more yellows and browns than those gorgeous reds and golds. I liked the one of that herd of sheep under the bridge with their sinister glowing eyes - I've always thought sheep were rather scary and this proves my point. Also, how come the druids on Primrose Hill celebrate the spring and autumn equinoxes and the summer solstice, but not the winter solstice? It's quite near where I live so maybe I should try and get there this year and find out what really goes on.
