WHoa!

I also managed to accidentally come across the listing for this book: Bhutan: A Visual Odyssey Across the Last Himalayan Kingdom. It is a mere $2500. Why? Because it is a book of photographs of Bhutan that is five by seven feet in size.

I so want to see this book in person. And made that an Amazon affiliate link because it amused me so. (Hey! Ya never know! 4% of $2500 would be an awesome haul! XD)

ETA: Note, however, that it is not available via Amazon Prime, so you'd have to pay for shipping, and that's a whole $3.99, so it's probably not worth it.

I've had the ridiculous urge to travel to Bhutan ever since I read The Geography of Bliss. Apparently, the hang phalluses everywhere for protection.

Sadly, the listing says

A brand-new, unused, unread copy in perfect condition. There seems to be some misunderstanding about this book. We have correct ISBN # but it is NOT very large 133 lbs books as listing may seem to suggest.

Presumably it is the smaller version, which you can get from Amazon itself for a mere $50. The huge version cost $15,000 (much of which went to charity, I think) when it was available.

I could get that for you with my employee 30% discount! Though A)the shipping from Georgia to Texas would be more than $3.99, and B)you would have to pre-pay.
