Hah!

I went in to get a haircut and made a profit! I brought my kanzashi in because my stylist asked me to the last time I got a haircut, and not only did he buy some for his wife, but two other employees did, too. Whee!

And luckily I'm ahead of the game in con prep, so I can make a few more tomorrow to replace them. XD

I'm totally going to bring them in every time Just In Case. My stylist - who's also the salon owner - mumbled that they ought to get a display box for stuff like this, so I may see if I can ask him about consignment selling. Which would be awesome. :D

Anything that isn't a plastic bottle of product is going to be noticed! If I walked into my hairdresser and she had these, I'd buy one---for me, for someone I know, for the cat...

(There's a nail salon nearby that has a kinda-famous boutique nook thing, full of ever-changing stuff like stylish flip-flops, cute little purses, and hair things and bangles---impulse buys. I gather it does well for them, because customers cruise the goods while they're waiting or drying. (And then of course there's the best card shop in San Francisco---at the Divisadero Car Wash...))
