Still working on it, although didn't get much done today.



I refined the mouth and nose a little bit and lightened up the philtrum (that's the groove in the upper lip below the nose), then moved the dark area where his left eye is going to go closer to the actual spot where his eye's going to be so he doesn't look quite as wonky as before.

Nice. I'm impressed by the way the proportions all look right, even with the shapes relatively undefined.

(And I didn't notice the lip-groove being too dark until someone pointed it out, and then it was obvious. It looks much better now.)

Thanks! Yeah, I didn't notice that the lip-groove was too dark until it was pointed out - I knew something wasn't right about the area but couldn't figure out what. :)

Just like it took me 24 hours to notice that his eyes were looking funny because the left eye area was too close to the bridge of his nose.
