Kanzashi & kittyspam!

I just put together a beaded dangly like the ones in an earlier post today. It has a few warts, but not bad for a first try! Photos and kittyspam under the cut.

I love tabbies best and I like that black paw underside she has. Are all her paws all like that?

Yup, they're all like that. :D I've got another tabby whose paws are like that too (I think - she's meatloafing right now and doesn't want me to check) - if you click on my "kittyspam" tag you can see pics of her too. :D

Now I have to figure out how to attach it to the ones I glue down to hair clips. I think maybe sewing a jump ring onto the base of the kanzashi will work - the lobster claw clasp needs to be able to move freely so that the wearer can put it on either side of their head and have it dangle correctly.

My kitty thinks her help is required when I'm making jewelry as well. It doesn't help that I make pendants out of gaming dice, which are her favorite toys EVER. Nerd kitteh. :P

I freaking love your kanzashi. I'm getting married in September - maybe I could commission some from you for the female members of my wedding party? I'd need three, and they could match in either color or style. Actually, it'd be better if they weren't all the same color. Anyways, if you're down for it, I'd love to talk to you about it! I'm on etsy as a seller myself, maybe I could just PM you?

Sora's favorite toys are, in order: (a) the feathers-onna-stick that he pulled out all the feathers from, leaving the bare stick, (b) pieces of cellophane plastic that I take away as soon as I find, and (c) whatever I am handling at the time.

OMG, Finn loves those stupid sticks as well. She mutilates the toy within hours and then wrestles with the stick.

I have become more careful about which toys I let her mutilate, however - last month, I got a blue sparkly one at a discount store and after the subsequent destruction, I discovered blue sparkly poop in the litter box. SHE IS SUCH A GIRL THAT SHE CRAPS SPARKLES.

He didn't start helping until I'd got most of it done, luckily. XD And I banished him from the table later on, when I was making more kanzashi, after he got his tail in the rice paste. (Only rice and water, so nontoxic.)
