Going to see King Tut today. Or at least his stuff - the King Tut exhibit over in Dallas closes this weekend and I've completely forgotten to go by previously. To combat potential last-weekend crowds and parking issues, myrialux and I are leaving a bit after 3 and heading to Dallas for a 5:30 exhibit entrance time. We should get there a bit early, which leaves time for either poking about the museum or grabbing a bite to eat in the cafe, whichever seems most important at the time.

You were all dying to know that, weren't you?

Anyway, his mom is in town, with or without his dad I'm not sure, so we're doing a midafternoon thing with them - kind of hard to schedule around a Dallas exhibit. :)

We've been meaning to go for months, but have never been able to quite make the logistics pan out. It's amazing what a motivation "it's now or never" can be.

I found that watching the phenomenally trashed houses on How Clean Is Your House? spurred me to clean. As does having something else that really really needs to get done now. Procrastination is an effective method of getting me to clean.

I'm mostly commenting to brag that I've actually been in Tut's tomb (which is both underwhelming-- tiny and hot and there's, you know, very little actual stuff there-- and unbelievably awesome because, you know, Tut's tomb). I can do that, right? :D
