I have had the next Kyou Kara Maoh disks (part 2, disks 5-8) at the top of my Netflix queue since SEPTEMBER and have not had them sent yet. I tracked down a phone number at Netflix to call, but I'm currently so frustrated that I'm going to burst into tears on the phone if I try to call. I *know* that the availability on the queue doesn't necessarily reflect actual availability, but I'd think that sometime since SEPTEMBER my sending in my DVDs would have coincided with it actually being available.

I may have to torch my entire queue except for these disks just to see if THAT works.


P.S. Plz to not be helpfully suggesting torrents. I am sick and tired of explaining why I can't do that.

...would downloads from Megaupload work? kkm_rewatch did a big rewatch-and-summary project of the first two seasons last year, and people uploaded all the episodes here (http://community.livejournal.com/kkm_rewatch/961.html)--it's a friends-locked entry, but the comm's membership is open, and I think most of the links are still good.

How many disks do you rent a week? If you are getting throttled, taking a one or two week break could probably help with availability. Unless the problem is that Netflix is running out of copies.

I am so far away from being throttled that it's not even remotely on the radar as a reason. I tend to send my DVDs back every 3 or 4 weeks. I get the items on the queue below the KKM disks with no problem and no delay, also. (So if it's throttling, it's a very weird throttling of these specific disks.)

Bah! Probably just lack of disks... but since September is retarded, they should mark 'em as "unavailable".

I had one disk on "super duper really long wait" for a long time, and then when I got it it was snapped through. I marked it broken and then it went to status "unavailable".

I think they've got, like, one copy, because it periodically gets marked Unavailable or Very Long Wait - usually right after they send me three others.

I wonder if I'd get disk 6 right away if I took 5 off the list? I *can* rip DVDs if need be.

I wonder if the change in distributor messed with their system... I was thrilled when Funimation started releasing the things, and finished buying the series. Now I'm waiting impatiently for more Moribito to hit netflix.

The person I got was SO WONDERFUL and I was ready to cry or throttle someone possibly both. She talked me down right away. I was utterly prepared for crappy service because, you know, online video rental, and they were lovely. (Plus, free disc!)
