Sleepy Kitty

The cats are slowly starting to sort things out. What basically happens now is that Sora runs around and plays and attacks Nefer and gets into everything and drives us both absolutely nuts until Nefer snaps and this happens.



Occasionally she'll chase him, occasionally he'll chase her. I'm bouncing between thinking it's play and thinking it's dominance-fighting, although Nefer's ears being forward and tail not being puffed up reassures me a bit.

At any rate, Sora's pissed her off enough this morning that I threw him back into the bedroom to allow her some uninterrupted napping-in-sunbeam time, which I figure she badly needs.



And more video! The video's a two-parter. The second half with Sora climbing up into the camera's lens is pretty much what I wake up to at night, with his I WANT TO SLEEP ON YOUR FACE LET ME SLEEP ON YOUR FACE.

*Jedi hand wave* You do not see the mess on the desk. There is no mess on the desk.

You can hear him purring, especially in the second half. :D

I miss Gatz at that age, he was like a monkey. Sora is just FULL OF SHIT! I LOVE it! He is shounen. I think Gatz is a bishie, but that's because of the eyeliner . . .

You know the M stands for 'mischief', right? Before you feel too sorry for Nefer, she's loving the hell out of having somebody to smack around. She gets to assert herself as queen.

BTW, a little dominance bullshit is just FINE. They have to work it out for themselves.

Earlier today, Nefer ended up with a puffed-up tail and looking Decidedly Not Happy, so I deduced that she'd had enough of this little shit and put him back in the bedroom for a while. :) Just let him out, whereupon I discovered that the little idiot had spent the time cowering under the bed, where it's cold, instead of in the sunbeam on top of the bed. *sigh* I suppose I'll have to shove a cat bed under there and hope he wants to sit in it.
