Tactics: Kantarou: I tried reading Vol 2 earlier this week and I think the squick grew for me.

Yup. I love the era, I love the youkai, but Kantarou's obliviousness to the reality of life for the youkai he controls squicks the hell out of me.

I'll probably not request it, because of the chance of whoever offering it not being sympathetic to my vision of KANTAROU GETTING HIT VERY HARD WITH A CLUEBAT. But it's nice to contemplate. :)

Yeah. I liked Youko and Haruka, but I didn't like that the plot was basically their being at the mercy of his every whim, and it was funny. (Rather like my experience with Special A, come to think of it.)

I think I'll just stick with Yumekui Kenbun: Nightmare Inspector for supernatural tales in that era.

No one's offering SDK either direction yet. Or Qwan.

I might actually offer to do more than the minimum number of fandoms this year - I had so much fun with it last year.

There's a lot on the list not being offered/requested yet. :) I'm holding off for a couple of days to see what happens.

I'm going to wait too ... I tend to be a soft-hearted goop, so I'm looking at the "orphan" requests. Thus far, none of them are anything I could write.

So far I'm not getting any like that - either nobody wants to write or request them, or they have a good mix of write/request. :)

(I'm wondering who nominated Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio and whether they wanted to write it or request it. Because I could TOTALLY write that. XD It's basically a book of short and short-short stories about supernatural occurrences that Pu Songling collected- in some cases wrote - and improved.)
