Tamalat's (on the left) color is looking sweet! Unfortunately Brio looks dead dead dead. :/

ETA: AND he's too pale! I need to make his skin darker, although not as dark as Tamalat. Harrumph.

Eyebrows are on the thin/plucked side, he's got half-lidded eyes (more traditionally associated with women), and he's got full lips with what looks like lipstick. They're too red -- I don't wear lipstick, and my lips are a really pale pink.

Awesome! Tamalat is absolutely perfect. I am slightly startled to see that Brio is a blue-eyed blond - for some reason I had him as resembling Angel from Buffy *g* - but I never had that much visual conception of him. I do like how intent and vaguely scary he looks.

I will be buying a print of this when it is done. :-D

Er, he's supposed to be neither blue-eyed nor blond. What is making him read that way to you? (So I can keep it in mind as I repaint him?)

I've got his skin way too pale - the blues and purples from the shadows are currently making it read pink and I'm going to be darkening him down a lot, and his eyes are currently grey - or as grey as I was at the time able to get without going into either blue or green while at the same time keeping them light. Hrm.

Hmm, it may just be my laptop screen (old iBook). Or else my eye is picking up the blue-toned shadows near his eyes, contrasting it to the purple-red of the robe, and ending up thinking that the grey eyes are blue as they are more similar to the shadow-colour than the robe colour. *goes back and squints* Yes, on my screen the colour of his eyes is very close to the colour of the shadows underneath them.

The tiny wisps of hair look dark blonde to me, as is the colour of his eyebrows. It may be that my brain is picking that up because of the pinkish toned skin and blue eyed effect, and the people I usually see with those colours (like myself *g*) tend to also have blonde hair.

Or, as I say, it may just be that the colour balance on my screen is _really_ screwy. *g*

I see him as blond and blue-eyed too. The hair over his forehead and eyebrows looks dirty/dark blond, and his eyes look blue.
