Shear Genius

I agree with the judges that nobody deserved to win the Angels challenge, but I wish they'd booted Nekisa off because I'm sick and tired of her Teflon approach to criticism and logic: IT ALL SLIDES OFF. Ya know, speaking as someone who knows vibrant hair color? THAT WAS NOT VIBRANT.

I actually loved Dee's shortcut challenge hair color - the "bird of paradise" - and I think I'm going to tell my stylist to do something like that at the end of August when I go in to get my hair done before AnimeFest. (I looked it up on Bravo.com and OMG the graphic artist who reduced that photo for the web FUCKED UP. You can't see the BRIGHT YELLOW of the bangs, and the vibrant orangey-red was killed.)

And speaking of my stylist, he knows Matt - the one who went home on the red carpet challenge - and he's worked with Charlie at hair shows before. XD

I do have to say that when the Dallas stylist said about his shortcut style "SOmeone in Dallas is going to have this!" and the android judge* said "I don't think Dallas is ready for this," my reaction was to shout "OH FUCK YOU" at the TV because I HAVE PINK AND WHITE AND BLACK HAIR AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME. (The purple faded out and the magenta's lightened to pink.) OK, I live in Fort Worth, not Dallas, and I'm not one of the over-blonded, fake-tanned, diamond-wearing Dallas elite, but still OH FUCK YOU.

* OMG that's some plastic surgery gone wrong.

I'm now picturing her hair in some elaborate late-18th-century affair, with a tableau featuring all the little children and animals worshiping before a portrait of Baba.

An image that will never leave my mind!

The portrait is surrounded by a tasteful gold frame with neon detailing.
