I think they are smoking fish, but yes, it doesn't really appeal, does it?

I know. I'd expect to see something green, or at least vegetable-like from that headline, but instead it seems they are tentatively looking into a vat of ... something.

I'm half-Scots, so I was certainly not expecting anything green whatsoever. We don't do vegetables, apart from bashed neeps. They do mention Arbroath smokies, which are actually a very tasty sort of smoked herring.
